The fundamental problem with personal revisionist history, or any other external history is that without the specific set of events that have occurred, going back from the recent to the incomprehensible beginning of time, had to occur, in that exact precise order, for all of us to be here, the slightest change alters everything. You think, what a senseless number of deaths, say the battle of Verdun in which 700,000 people died, which just seems a terribly senseless loss, but, for me to be here, that had to happen, with that figure.
