A Long Night
I’m feeling so sick. I ate so much at Denny’s when I went to a gaming event. It was our last one for a while as our organizer is going in for surgery on her rotator cuff/arm. She had some kind of accident playing water volleyball.
Anyway. I also had some iced tea, and while I normally don’t have issues with iced tea, it probably didn’t help that I had all the pancakes, eggs, and some pretty crappy hash browns. Anyway, I had so much food and/or liquids that I started having this pain just under my breasts and it wouldn’t go away. For a while it actually hurt to talk, and the more I belched, it the more it hurt. What I really needed was my prescription Prilosec, but I didn’t have it with me, of course.
Well, that stops now. AS of tonight, I will always have at least one Prilosec on me when I know I’m gonna go out. Of course this could also all be because I’ve been eating so healthy and then have started to eat really awful things. 🙁 Time to get myself back on the wagon.
Some good things did happen today, though. I started working on the Comcast Spotlight projects over at Rev. They aren’t as bad as everyone tried to me believe. The truth is, it just takes some getting used to. I really enjoyed the ones I’ve done, and I got my first grades back on them and one other project I did earlier in the week. My ratings have been 5/5 for the last few projects, and I was really nervous about the Comcast ones because they are a big customer for Rev. I got 5/5 on all but one of the projects, and my Metrics are soaring! This is only two weeks of work, and I am so excited about it.
Tomorrow I am not working. Instead, I wanted to work on my diamond painting some more. October is going to be here before I know it, and i want to get it done before I leave for Maryland for a few weeks. I am excited about that too. I also need to get a dent in my library books. Some of them only have a few renewals left before I decide which books I want to purchase either as an E-book or a regular book. I’ll probably end up buying New York 2140 because it’s a pretty big book and I really prefer to read those types in physical format. Still waiting on my copy of Gold Citrus Fame to get here. Probably gonna get it by sometime this coming week.
AND! I found a new game I absolutely obsessed with now called World Chef. It’s like Hay Day but with cooking. I really love it. 🙂 I’m gonna try and go to bed here in a few minutes. I’m exhausted and tired. I’ll try and keep everyone updated.
