Drug Commercials
Have you ever seen those depression, or heartburn commercials (i.e. Paxil, or Prevacid)? Have you ever watched that commercial while they are saying “Do you feel down, not able to feel happy about anything?” and gone, “No, I’ve never felt that way before.” I must say, I think that to myself every time I see a commercial similar to that.
However, the other day I was watching the TV and there was a commercial. It said, “Do you feel like you are watching a TV and don’t have the remote. Do you feel like your mind is racing 24-hours a day? Do you have trouble concentrating when you need to?” And I kept thinking, “Yeah… Yeah, I do have that problem.”
Well, it turns out that the commercial was for Adult ADD. *smacks forehead* Figures. The worst part is, I went online to take the test on their website, I tested (as good as that can test) positive for Adult ADD. That makes me feel really good about myself. *lol*
Its funny, because when I first started PLU (the university I attend) at the end of the first semester, two of my professors approached me and asked whether I had ADD. At the time I said “No… Can’t say I’ve ever been diagnosed with it.” And because of those two profs. I asked my doctor the next time I saw her. She told me that there was a good chance that if I had ADD, it would have been caught much sooner. So I forgot about it.
Well, after the big break up last year, I noticed thats its getting worse. My mind thinks of things without my concent. It just happens. I have a serious problem paying attention to people sometimes. Its weird, because I don’t remember having that problem.
The worst part is, now that I’m having trouble paying attention, it just accentuates my not so good hearing. (Oh, I have a slight hearing loss… nothing serious) I feel bad, lately I’ve had to have people repeat themselves more often than normal. I think its starting to get on my friends’ nerves… Oh well.
Anyway, just felt like typing for some reason. Thanks for listening.
Heh, I have all those problems. I think it has to do with growing up/getting older. You take on more responsibility and for some god damn reason we think about things alot more. Its STRESS!!! I can not express to you in words how much a relate. There is not enough space on these note things for me to write what i want.. eehh.. so i’ll leave it at that 😉 xoxo Chemae

Ryn: Friends with benefits only works for certain people. People who don’t want a relationship, people who like having the freedom of a single person while still Having Sexual relations with one person. As for me, I enjoy relationships. I enjoy the things that come along with relationships. So Friends with benefits never work out for me, but its all i seem to get..haha it sucks xoxo Chemae
