“The Passion of The Christ”

This movie was absolutely, hands down, the greatest movie I’ve ever seen.  It touched me in a way no other movie has.  Now I am a huge Christian and of course really wanted to see the movie knowing it was going to be good not only because it was supposed to show what Christ went through on the cross and before the crucifiction for us, but because it was also directed by Mel Gibson, my favorite actor of all time.  I knew this movies was going to be good, but not awesome.  Now I have cried before in movies, I’m man enough to admit that.  But I bawled in this movie, mainly in one part where Christ is pulling his cross down the city streets and Mary comes up to him and then they show flashbacks of when Christ was a child and fell down and Mary ran to him to pick him back up on his feet again, then Christ said something like “I make all things new again” and stood back up with all his might and you could see the pain and anguish in his eyes and it just tears you up inside.  This movie brought a huge amount of conviction on me, the realism of it hit me so hard I could barely breathe throughout the whole movie.  It built such a passion in me for Christ, not that I didn’t already have one, but it just built it up stronger.  I wanted to just jump into the screen and pick up one half of the cross and help Christ along the way too!  And I would have if I were there, I swear I would have.  I felt guilty too because it also built a rage in me for the Pharasees, I wanted them so badly to be destroyed, and I know that is wrong, I know that is exactly what Christ did not want, and so I felt bad for thinking that way, but I am only human.  I give it 5 stars, no doubt!

I hope Hollywood realizes now that there is another audience out there, and their called Christians, and there’s about oh say 100 million of them in the US.  Yea, make good movies about Christian subjects makes millions of dollars.  This movie has already broken records.  I hope destroys all records, because unlike “Titanic” where the whole first 2 hours was boring beyond belief, this movie had me at the edge of me seat throughout the whole thing.  The actor who played Christ did an awesome job, and deserves an Emmy award as does the movie, but with this liberal world probably won’t get anything, but that’s ok, I got something from it as did millions of others who viewed.  The point was made, taken in, and felt with the deepest amount of feeling a human can possibly imagine.

I can’t wait to see it. I am not a very religious person (I believe in God, but don’t follow a specific religion) and I am curious to how it will make me feel. It is interesting, in your entry you said something about the passion for christ that it made u feel- I guess they named the movie perfectly then right? =c) You seem very devout in your beliefs, good for you! Have a good day.

Mel Gibson is definatly the man as for the movie…haven’t seen it and can’t really say that i want to.

Passion by smell gibson is the most retared ploy in hollywood history. smell gibson is making millions upon millions of dollars playing on your obsession with jesus. by the way smell gibson’s dad is the most insame jew-hating freak i’ve ever heard. he denys that the holocaust even happened. smell gibson’s dad once said the following: “thoose gas chambers can’t kill anybody” -The Militant Atheist
