I just have to say, I fully agree with this email and amen.
Hell we all saw what happened after the hurricane…, and I mean all the looting and other illegal acts made because people knew that the police and National Guard were too busy cleaning everything up to watch and patrol the city for crime. I’m sry but that just tells me a lot about the kind of people who live in New Orleans. To take advantage of a natural disaster that has forced thousands out of their home, hell even out of their city and some their own state, and go parading through the streets stealing from abandoned stores and what not. It makes me sick to tell you the truth. I mean hell I would partly understand if it were food they were stealing, but hell I saw people on tv stealing appliances and etc. from stores. What the hell would you need to steal appliances for in a time like that, hell there’s no damn electricity to use to have fun with it. Ya can’t sell it, everybody is broke now and has no access to thier funds. Those people were friggin stupid, no common sense, and no discipline when being raised. I have to agree with this Maggie here about people not putting forth an effort to get jobs and to become successful in some way. I know not everybody can be Oprah Winfrey, but everybody has a chance given to them and paid for by the American peoples taxes to go to school, earn an education good enough to place you in some kind of job. And if you want a better job then the government has things called financial aid, and scholarships, and grants to help get you through a college or a technical school of some kind so you can learn a trade and become a professional at what you want to do. Laziness and procrastination is a huge problem amongst the people of America these days, and I don’t just mean the younger generation, I also mean the older generations. Just think, if the parents of this younger generation had dne a better job of properly raising their children in some type of home with some moral values of some kind then maybe they would have had the work ethic to actually WANT to WORK to succeed.
I know that someone could read this and tell me I have no right to make such accusations, just because I was raised by two loving, and mature parents and I became a hard working role model for young soldiers in an officer training program, I shouldn’t be talking about this at all, because I didn’t have the chance to ecperience the hardships that they had to. Maybe your parents were terminally ill for years and could not get a job and you had to leave school to work for your family. Maybe you only had one parent who happened to be addicted to drugs or alcohol and wanted nothing to do with you. Well hell, both my parents are now on disability, my dad only as of recent, and my mom since I was a toddler. My parents only got a high school education and chose to skip college when given the chance to go just so they could get an early jump on marriage and raise a family together. They struggled for years and still struggle just to get by on monthly payments from the government disability funds. Me and my family once had to live out of my grandpa’s garage for years to get by without having to pay some kind of rent. Then we lived with my mother’s parents in their house all cramped up in one bedroom for years. Then finally when we get a break and get lucky and get our own home, 3 years later the government takes it away to build a sewage area due to bad flooding in the area, or whatever, so they bought us a new home for which we now strugge to pay the mortgage for on a monthly basis. But through all these problems and hardships my family had to face my parents disciplined me properly, and tought me moral values, and how to live the life of a good Christian by sending me to church every Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Wednesday night. They didn’t allow me to slack off in school and they didn’t allow me to not go to college, even if I didn’t want to go. They were raised properly so therefore I was raised properly and so then my children will be raised properly, and that is called setting an example.
So to take in all your hardships and wish for pity from the government and it’s people because you have it so much worse then everybody else in the country and maybe the planet, and then live solely off of welfare and basically take the people’s tax money and blow it on this and that rather then use it properly to get back on your feet and get yourself a job again, is pathetic. Pathetic… When there are starving children living in communist countries with no freedoms and no free chances, and you feel you have the right to ask for pity..? Those people in those communist countries with no house or no money and barely any food but the food they happen to find, they deserve pity because they were not given a chance. At least we are all given a FREE chance to become someone. That is what this great country is all about, enjoying your freedoms and using the free chances you get to better yourself as a person and as a free American. Set an example for your children so that they will set the example for their children and so on and so forth, and then by doing that we can all set a better example for the world.
God bless.
