Time for an update

Since I haven’t written in awhile, I guess I should update. Things here are about the same as usual. We got moved into our house and are have everything unpacked finally. We’ve bought a TON of new stuff…a desk, chest freezer, dryer, grill, decorations, lamps, coffee table, two end tables, new down comforter and duvet for our bed, new sheets and pillowcases, new big boy sheets and comforter for Derek’s bed. Whew. Spent way too much money, but I’m having fun decorating and such. My next and newest project is working on our flower bed out front. We put a fence up around it tonight and worked on the soil. I ordered some bulbs to plant so we have flowers next spring and summer. Matt and his brother and one of his friends are going to put our chain link fence up out back next weekend.

Oh, and we added another new member to our family. We got an 8 week old kitten for Derek. He’s black and white and ugly but cute…LOL. We named him Patches. Nothing else too exciting around here. I haven’t really met anyone…except for our REALLY strange neighbors who just won’t seem to leave us alone. We don’t want to have anything to do with them, but they keep coming over to talk to us.
