These past few weeks have been weird. The new job lost it’s excitement the very first day that I was alone and on my own. It’s stressful and sometimes boring, but at least its something different from working in a restaraunt. I don’t know, I kind of regret taking it, but I think that once school starts back up and I have to work less it’ll be better. Right now being there 40 hours a week, I get a lot accomplished, so I end up sitting there thinking of things that I could be doing instead of being in an office with two middle-aged woman gossiping about about someone I don’t even know. My boss stresses me out too, but we can’t talk about that because according to Marathe, that’s just “Office talk”. Whatever…

We’re going to the drive in tonight, at least I think we are. And if that falls through we’re going to go to the “races” because nothing says we’re going to have a good time like a bunch of good ol’ boys sitting on the back their pick ups cheering on their “home boys” who are racing on some homemade backyard race track. Actually it’s not that bad and quite respectable from what I hear…I really don’t care, as long as I don’t have to sit at home tonight.

So apparently I “may” have joined the Missouri College National Guard and not even know it. When SEMO sent my my financial aid offers this past spring, there was a line that said, “Missouri College National Guard…..$1250 semester”. So I was thinking that if you JOIN the guard, they’ll give you this amount per semester, so I checked the “Decline” box because the very last thing I want to do is sign up for the military. Well I got a bill from SEMO today showing all of my charges and credits…and I received $1250 from the Missouri College National Guard! So I’m freaking out because I don’t know what’s going on. Because I don’t think that they’re going give me $2500 a year to NOT join…So I have to call Monday and see what the hell is going on…

Well, even though I do have all day to so absoulutely nothing, I’m got to get off of here…
