Kythorn 28, 1492 DR – Leaving Neverwinter
It appears that our activities as a group have not gone unnoticed. I *had* wondered at the competency of our enemies up to this point. It seems they may not be entirely composed of imbeciles. Assassins attacked us in the city – quite bold if I do say so myself. I would have expected such in my own lands, but this place seems far more soft. It was fortunate that Sildar and I were together, while Prissy may have woken me, I am not sure that he would have been awoken in time to save himself. The bounty posters were…insulting. 1100 gold? For a Thayan Evoker?! Outrageous. I’m worth at least *ten times* that much. Of course – I won’t be *informing* anyone of that. I have been as circumspect as I can and still maintain my sanity. Eventually though someone is going to ask too many questions. I suppose when it comes to pass I will get to test the loyalty of my companions. Will they stand by someone wanted for treason? We leave at first light for Agatha’s. I should keep an eye to the sky for signs of the dragon. Unless we have human pets to offer it the fight will be deadly. I am not pleased we are headed to speak with a banshee. Fickle creatures. Undead Elves…what could *possibly* be worse than an elf that didn’t have the common courtesy of dying? Don’t answer that.
