Ches 2, 1492 DR – (Berna’s Journal) – The Road to Neverwinter

I’m back on the road again. In my role as Bern the Caravan Guard. It feels different now that Essy and Robyn are here. Before, I could really BE Bern. Now it feels false, and kind of annoying to pretend to be a guy all the time. I’ve never actually said I was male, but…maybe its time for me to show my true self again? In a couple of hours Robyn will be ready for our “talk”. I am so nervous. What could he possibly say that could be so bad? All of us girls know he is an assassin and a necromancer. It’s not like they did a great job of covering it up. If it will help though, I am glad to listen. I am super excited to hear more about his life, its all been so mysterious before now. But a real talk? Where he *tells* me stuff. That will be wonderful!

Post Talk; that was…incredible. He *kissed* me! The kiss…I felt as if my heart was going to burst out of my chest and take flight. His lips are so soft. And…he said he wants to marry me! He didn’t *ask* per se, but..he wants kids and a marriage and…a relationship! So much joy paired with so much pain.
