Birthday Shopping

Well, it’s my mom’s birthday! Happy 70th mom! As luck would have it, she has a cold, so we have to postpone celebrating. After Saturday’s blizzard, my sister and I went hopping for my mom’s birthday together. We are trying to spend more time together, but it’s always pretty good. So, we were trying to figure out where to go shopping: Windham, the Maine Mall, or Auburn. Well, I forgot my normal sneakers in my mom’s car, and was wearing my heavy boots. I knew my mom was going shopping in Auburn with our neighbor, so we ended up following them to Auburn- just so I could get my shoes haha.

I got my mom a hand chainsaw that she wanted, from Home Depot, then we went to Panera for lunch. I like buying for my sister. I haven’t been there forever. I had 2 of their juices with my sandwich, more on this later. After, we went to the always fabulous, blast from the past 80’s/early 90’s mall- the Auburn mall, lmao, I haven’t seen it so busy since we were kids! there was some sort of Nascar show there. So my sister got my mom some crystals from that store, I got a magazine, we took silly photos in the Photo booth, then did a sweep around Goodwill and went home.

As it turns out, the Panera drinks MUST have had caffeine because I was wiredddd. I thought I got a caffeine free one, but I don’t think so. I felt dizzy and like I was floating a bit. However, it gave me energy and then I had a great workout with Phil- honestly I could have stayed for 2 hours, and I was happy. I wish my mood, spirits, and energy levels were this high all the time- I felt like a real person. On the way home, we went to Hannaford for some “Christmas tree shopping”. YOU SHACKING UP IN YOUR DAMN CAR!

Yesterday sucked tho. The caffeine kepy me up Sunday night, I got insomnia, so yesterday was like zombie mode at work and all day. I hate that. Last night I took a sleep aid, and this morning I think I feel a bit groggy from it still. AHHH. I just wanna sleep like a normal person. Coffee time! I need to work in about 42 mins.
