Photos from the weekend with the friends

I just have to make it through a couple more weeks… just a couple more weeks and my life will be back to normal. This semester will be put to rest and I will be able to move on with my life.

This past week has been great, despite my ugly stress level. Brittany, a friend of mine from high school, came to visit Chloe and I. Well, moreso Chloes baby Julian than Chloe or I. It was a lot of fun. We hung out at Chloe and Jeremy’s place on Friday night (Dave joined us). Saturday Chloe and Jeremy got a babysitter and we went out to a bar in my neighborhood. Dave and his friend John had a bachelor’s party to go to, but they skipped out on bar hopping and strip clubs downtown to join my friends and I. Clint and Colin also came, as did Chloe’s brother Dain. So, there was a pretty large group of us! It was fun. We all drank way, way too much I think. Well, everybody but Jeremy (he was our DD).

No, I’m serious. Every recipe in that cookbook contains semen. Google it! It’s a great conversation piece to have around. We were all giddy with laughter… some of the names of the recipes are hilarious.

Brittany, Dain, Jeremy, Chloe, and I at the bar. We went to a place that I hadn’t been in years because Brittany wanted a more ‘club-like’ atmosphere. It was SO LOUD! I’m definitely not a fan of places like that anymore. But, we all had a pretty great time anyway, so I don’t know what I’m complaining about. lol.

Fast forward a little. You can see how drunk Brittany is, here. It only got better. 🙂

 

John was "making it rain" on me because I was "busting a move" to some rap song. I don’t listen to rap music, so I have no idea what it was called. So, it was mockery of a mockery. That’s how we roll.

We forgot to bring our cameras on the first night, so we don’t have any photos from there. Brittany took a few photos on the Sunday before she left, but they’re basically just of us outside of a restaurant. Nothing special! 

I feel like crap today. I was up late last night for about an hour because my throat and sinuses hurt so bad. Today my throat and sinuses still hurt, as does my head. My body aches, my ears are plugged from all of the pressure, and my stomach hurts because of all of the mucus that I’m producing. TMI I know… sorry! Swine flu?! 🙂

Anyway, I’m have some meatball stuff  resting in the fridge that are probably ready to be made into meatballs! I’m having spaghetti for dinner tonight! Dave is supposed to come over a little later, too. I’m going to give myself a mega dose of Ibuprofen and get cooking!
