hi!! over here!!!

So I haven’t written in a long time.

Life has calmed down a bit since my last post.

Work still sucks, but I got a raise.  My whining finally paid off, and I got many upgrades for my computer, including – as of tomorrow – the 2 weeks old OS X Leopard (hooray!! I can’t wait!!!) and CS 3.  Yay for no longer living in the stone age!  I wanted to kiss the tech guy today when he brought over my memory upgrade, back-up hard drive, and LCD screen.  Fantastic.

Life itself is better, no more fear of people robbing me.  Still waiting on one more check from the place we were supposed to move into… blah?  But I must say, I have a much better appreciation for Queens now that that whole mess happened.  It isn’t so bad after all.

The band is good.  Seems like we keep getting better, and people keep not noticing, which SUCKS beyond belief.  I really really want to be a rock star.  I hate having a job.  It sucks.  To quote one of my favorite bands on their most recent record "I wanna be famous".  Now please.  Sucks being a grown-up…  I have worked really hard on the site lately (<a href = "http://www.skypicnicmusic.com">skypicnicmusic.com</a> go there and look how cool I am!) and I think it’s pretty sweet, so that’s good.  My freaking hosting people crapped out on me for no reason, and the site was down for like a week without my knowing… that sucked.

Anyway… I’m not making sense anymore.

The moral of this story: Life sucks less these days than usual, but could still use a bit of a sprucing up.
