At the Movies

Today was super atmospheric. One of those winter days where the sky is cloudy, and there is a constant snow flurry in the air. The snow coated the trees, winter wonderland vibe. I took a walk in the woods and it was just so pretty and peaceful.

Afterwards I went to BJs with my mom and then went to the Apple Cinema in Westbrook with Mike to see Avatar Fire and Ash in 3D. It was good, I think I liked it better than the 2nd one a bit. I liked the main villainess, she was giving minor Aztec vibes with her headdress (I am obsessed with Mesoamerican history lol). The movie started 3 and we got there around 2:15 so we just chilled in the lobby and chatted and ate popcorn.

The movie theater wasn’t crowded, but somehow people managed to sit in our reserved seats. It was fine though cause we didn’t want those seats anyway. We thought we got the seats all the way in the back in the middle (we didn’t on accident), but they were free so we got to sit there anyway. I love a pretty empty theater. I drank so much Fanta Vanilla Cherry Zero soda I had to make yellow 4 times during the movie. It’s a long one anyway.

I came back home to do laundry and watch RHOP.

This semester for grad school I’m taking a ‘Geography of Africa’ class. I should read a bit, but I’m sleepy. I already read this morning so many I will just do it today.

Diamonds form in kimberlite. Pre-cambian, Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic are in order earliest to most recent periods. I have to write what I learn so I don’t forget it.
