camping and other things.

so my, the parents, and my girl took off sunday after church to go camping:::::…..

we met my mom’s sister there at the campground, and just had a few peaceful days. minus my mom who ended up getting sick the first night and next morning – a few unpleasant sounds, and a moments of releasing of whatever made her sick she was better. my parents are lazy people who like to read their books and eat and sit around the campfire, a big contrast to my girlfriend, who is country girl – likes horse camping, and other things. in any case, i think my girlfriend had fun as well. i brought 2 mad libs books, and we went through them both. i love those things.

every now and then i use the ‘let’s run away to vegas’ line on my girlfriend, well the two times i did this weekend she said, ‘ask nicely.’ it eventually came out to where i think she was hinting to propose. i plan to this christmas, but i might earlier. i just need the guts to approach her parents for their blessings.

came home from work to a mess. the guy i hired to fill my pepsi while i was gone apparently left the store empty more often than filled. my bosses weren’t too pleased, and i get a nice butt-chewing from the store i stock at – that manager, from both of my pepsi superiors. fun stuff. :/ it’s all good by now i think though. i hope.

got a new phone finally. i like it. i need to travel 20 miles and get it fully activated (i live in an extended network area) before i can send and receive media messages though. i’m waiting until i HAVE to go, lol gas is too dang expensive to just take my xterra for a 40 mile joy ride to fully activate my phone when i text more than anything anyways.

i need to be honest and get this out: i’m tempted today. after a long exhausted practical 2 days, it’s when i get weak. i was doing a little light reading before my shower and i caught myself needing to put the reading down because of some suggestive pictures. i’m glad i made it out of the shower without sinning sexually.

those of you who do pray to God, pray for me.

i don’t want to give in – i’ve been clean for almost two weeks.

i shouldn’t watch any TV or do anything that involves viewing scantily clad women. :S sometimes it’s just my mind that plagues me about it though.
