Focus, people…

As usual, mob mentality has destroyed an opportunity to effect change in favor of random violence and more crime.

Actions have consequences, and sometimes the consequence is disproportionate to the action.  This is life.  George Floyd DID commit a crime.  A minor one, but a crime nonetheless.  It wasn’t a crime that warranted death, but the death might truly be accidental.  The preliminary autopsy report showed that there were “no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation.”  I know medical examiners, and they are usually pretty good at what they do.  Toxicology reports will tell more.

The thing is, rational people like law and order.  They are fair, and believe in equality for all.  But if you want those rational people to turn away from justice, disrupt their lives, destroy their businesses, and vandalize their property.

The message is this:

1: Police should be held to the same standard of behavior as everyone and punished likewise.

2: People have the right to peacefully protest in a manner that does not interfere with the lives of others whenever their grievances are not redressed and should be protected by the police.

3: Rioters and Looters should be shot on site; they are not protesting. They seek mayhem and profit excused by the facade of civil disobedience.

You know when someone robs a bank and the money has this dye on it and it explodes and goes all over you and the money?  There should be something like that that the police can us and then those people could get arrested a lot faster.  But Trump doesn’t think like that.

I almost dared not to say out loud how proud I am of my state.  We have very important cities here and everything, to my awareness, is calm and intact.  This wasn’t true last year when an incident in this state caught national attention and some aggressive behavior was whipped up and carried out as a result, but it didn’t boil over the edge like we’re seeing across the country now.

I personally would like to see American authority use light and sound to drive people back and out.  They can be very effective deterrents.
