Robert Ah, Robert
So today the rest of the freshmen have arrived and Passport officially started. With me sleeping in. (Damn Brian!) Oh, well. Didnt miss much. Im not going to graduate with honors, but thats really quite alright. Too much work, especially if I end up doing a double major. But I met a bunch of really cool people. Ok really cool guys. Ok one really cool guy. His name is Robert and hes got the most amazing voice. Ok I just really like it. He might not end up on like Broadway, but he wants to be an art teacher so thats ok. I helped him practice for his choral audition. I met him because my dormmate Laura knew him and she introduced me. And the three of us met up with Allison and Melissa, who are really cool people too. Allison is so hysterical. And I met people from Granada (which is not in Europe!!) and Nigeria and they are so funny too. And this guy from Dominican Republic who is tall and blonde and has great drummer jokes. But Robert and I share the same opinion that improv comedy cant hold a candle to stand-up. The Calvin Improve team put on a show tonight and he and I went to go practice his choral stuff instead but then we eventually ended up going. Hes so sweet. At dinner he was being the nicest guy ever, and I was trying to decide if he was doing that because hes a nice guy or because he likes me. And so walking over to Vespers, I gave it all to God him and me and the relationship that is growing between us, let it be just friends or something else. But after the improv he and I walked around campus and just talked for a while, then he walked me back to my dorm and we made plans to meet for breakfast and for the tour of the campus. He reminds me a little of one of my favorite people, Manny. Just wonderful. But walking back onto my floor, Jen was like Yah, youre happy! Its a guy right? I laughed. I had talked to her a little about what had happened between me and Tim. So she knew. And I think Robert more like restored my faith in guys. Even if all we ever are is friends, its still awesome to have such a cool friend. And our dorm floor decorated the dorm. Its so awesome. There are lights and streamers and we have strobe lights. Its cool. And we all helped putting it up. It was a ton of fun. And we really bonded. They are all so cool and I already know that as a floor we are going to be tight. Not necessarily know all each others secrets, but we are all going to be sisters. Who needs a sorority when I have my dorm floor? Ok its late and I must be up to meet Robert.
