Stars and My Boys

Ok – so Orchestra retreat was good. It was so beautiful. The camp we stayed at was by the beach. And the first day we got there, after braving the brass’s cooking and setting things up, Rach and I went for a walk down the beach. It was a little cold, but not too bad. And then we laid on the sand for a while. It was so great to just lie there and listen to the waves crashing on the surf and looking up at the stars. You could see a lot of them. I saw a bunch of shooting stars. I wished that Tim was there with me. I prolly would have fallen asleep there with him. I almost fell asleep there anyways! And the campfire was a blast. This one guy kept throwing wood on and I don’t know how late people were up, but I went to bed around 1am and the fire was still going strong. The beds were surprising comfortable. That or else I was a lot more tired than I thought. Which is possible. Anyway – I’m tired and thinking about going to bed soon. I’ll write more laters!
