Home internet has died

We’ve been quiet cause our home internet died last Sunday in a storm.  I think the DSL modem finally got old and decrepit.  anyway, I only have internet at work, and it’s not the best situation for writing entries and such.  Hopefully we’ll be back online tonite (if lucky) or not (if unlucky).  If it’s the DSL line, then I’m sure that Verizon will take their own fricking time getting around to it, since they just do the line for us, we actually get our service thru speakeasy.

anyway, that, plus Sweety being in Florida visiting her  Mom, has accounted for much silence.  Sweety flies back this afternoon (HOORAY HOORAY!!  SMILES SMILES SMILES). so, unless the new modem fixes the problem, we’ll only get sporadic access while at work. sheesh.
