LGBT Pride Month
The White House issued the following proclamation declaring June to be LGBT Pride Month.
Well, yeah, we knew that, but it’s nice to hear the big guy say it too. I don’t think we’d have seen the prior administration making such public statements.
We have Capital Pride week here in DC next week (link to festivities website), and it’s kicked off by Capital Trans Pride Day, this Saturday.
A bunch of us (Sweety and yours truly included) will be there for much of Saturday, and we’ll have a table or booth or something at the main festivities all week I believe. If you’re around, stop in and see us (TGEA – TransGender Education Association)!
Um, anybody know what the weather’s gonna be like? 😉

i ditto PhoenixIsRising!!!!!!! ryn: i get a paycheck for 157 a week for the past four weeks and more importantly the vindication that they were wrong and illegal for firing and accusing me! this is evidence that i then can take and sue them if i can get a lawyer to take the case! i’m not that optimistic about these things but i’m sure gonna try.
