Okay, we have a schedule

Well, today was a big day.

Sweety and I went to the facial surgeon’s office, and saw before & after pictures of a few of the trans folks who this doctor has done faces on.  They looked pretty decent, and gave us confidence he’s good enough.  And he and his partners have their operating rooms right there, so there’s no separate hospital fees.  The office is about 20 minutes from our house.

this is for facial feminization surgery – to give me a more feminine face.

So, we made a deal, gave them a deposit, and have a date set:  Wednesday, August 12, 2009.  I’ll be laid up for 2 weeks or so, and can probably work from home some after that.  I’ve been saving up vacation time like crazy – so that should be fine. 

It’s a big thing tho – it represents a major milestone in my life, in our lives, in our relationship.  I think we’re both kinda scared, and both convinced it’s the right thing to do. 

So…..   wow.  There were times in my past that I never thought this would happen, not for me.  I am blessed.  thank you, my love.
