Progress?
There’s been a lot of news lately of advances in LGBT equal rights, marriage rights, the President and Federal benefits.

And what’s odd is, we had a report in Baltimore of two butch lesbians who beat the crap out of two FtM folks as they came out of a lesbian bar. I just don’t understand it.
More of a status entry later. I’m still here, things are moving along quite nicely, just real busy. I read a lot of the entries, even if I don’t note.

I don’t understand hate. I finally saw the movie Milk and even though I was a kid during that time I had no idea what went on back then (I was sheltered as a kid). While we still have a long way to go I was shocked to see how bad things were. I’ve read entries from people who didn’t like the movie but I really liked it and was glad I finally watched it. I’m happy to hear that things aremoving along. I hope you & Sweety have a wonderful weekend. xo

Blah- I get sick of all the hate. It’s all terrible but I particularly can’t stand the division that is quite obvious in the GLBT community. I continually witness gay men hating lesbians and women, lesbians hating gay men or men in general and both catagories- too many of them do not understand and even hate transgendered. I’m so sick of it. I hear them talk. It’s disgusting and I want no partof their world. I wouldn’t call the GLBT community at all. I’ve never seen that particular community without all these dividing lines and seperatists. Geez- I went on a rant. Hatred just triggers me. You are always in my thoughts as your surgery date gets closer. I will be on the west coast so very excited for you.
