The Wonderful In You
I simply cannot believe that its true
That you cant see the wonderful in you
Every single particle and element
Screams out that you are truly magnificent
You mustnt be looking properly
Or perhaps you arent looking at all
Because its not easy to miss
Everything that keeps everyone else enthralled
You are probably being too hard on yourself
Maybe its just modesty
Ive heard that when the Queen addresses you
She calls you her majesty
Maybe you havent noticed
Poets far better than I cant summon up the words
To describe your perfection
To do you as much justice as you deserve
The rest of the worlds population cant compete
They have given up and accepted defeat
Accepted the purest of the accepted truths
For they have seen the wonderful in you
A sight which I hope one day you will see too.
