boring weekend recap stuff

You guys rock! thanks for the questions! I shall answer them in the entry that follows this.

But first the weekly recap of the weekend, which is very boring.

ok, so.

Ummm… Friday, went home and got readyfor this birthday dinner. We were in a rush because traffic looked awful and we didn’t want to be late. We ended up being 30 minutes early. I was STARVIN LIKE MARVIN.

We sit down to eat and I got a delicious skirt steak. The night goes on, Baboo drinks more than he said he would (no big surprise there), lots of people arrive, the retaruant turns into a club and I’m getting annoyed:

*People keep hitting the back of my head as they pass behind me. NObody but a handful stop to say "oh sorry" or "exscuse me"… dicks and douchenozzles.

*A "friend" of the birthday boy showsup about 2 hours late, proceeds to say "I’ve got the next round of drinks" about 10 times but NEVER gets them. Tries to drink Baboo’s shot and isbasically a giant dick. Ididn’ tlike him

*We carpooled with one of Baboo’s friends and he wanted to stay aroundin hopes that his ex gf wou ld show up. So we stayed an hour and a half later than we planned.

But then Baboo and I left alone cuz his friend got a "ride" with his ex. I had to facilitate everything because Baboo was pointless and being a bit of a unconcious cock blocker by saying "oh, we can still give you a ride, we’ll stay here for another hour" and I whispered in his ear "stop ruining his game! he wants to go home with the girl!!!!"

bah!

I had one drink (a mojito) and drove home a bit pissy. blah.

Saturday was bleh. slept til 9, went shopping (Baboo is awesome and got us household items, groceries, and paid for a portion of my rent so I can catch up and stop paying rent over two paychecks. He’s the BEST. He really takes care of me), came home and watched Gremlins with the children. Baboo was sick and went to bed early. I stayed up til 4 am doing laundry and watching dumb movies. the ones I remember are " The Haunting of Molly Hartley" (Lame ending, terrible) and "An American Haunting" (I liked this one.)

Sunday, slept in again. Tried to get my characters and such done for my Nano story I’m starting today. We went to chili’s for dinner, but I still came home and put together enchilada casserole to bake for dinner tonight (puts on domestic goddess hat and struts about). We also watched Honey I Shrunk the Kids and Coraline.

I know you’re sleeping.
it’s ok, I do this for my own good.

Oh! One more thing. We FINALLY finished watching Inglorious Basterds. It was a good movie, but nothing to rant and rave about. I was like "eh whatevah" at the end. It had its moments. It had a lot of strange tension, like … you’re always waiting for things to go bad. ha ha.

Anyway, I shall come back with answers! I guess you can ask me questions still if you wanted to, but if you don’t, that’s cool.

you’re cool.

we’re all cool.

yeah daddio.

i found basterds to be more of a filmmakers movie than an entertainment. i mean, it’s beautiful and well done, but if you’re there for fun it can drag a bit.
