Oh Time Change, I do Love thee most of all!

 

I must proclaim that I DO love the time change. I do! I do!

Not only do I feel awake and fresh this morning, I am actually in a good mood, very inspired to continue writing on my story (which I think will pull a twist on many people in a way that you won’t expect and I can’t WAIT TO WRITE ABOUT IT!!!!) and yeah, it’s Monday and that’s just weird.

Anyhow, like I said, the time change was wonderous.

but I’ll back peddle to Friday night. I came home with the boys. Jonathon decided he didn’t want to be an army man anymore, he wanted to be a vampire (he got some plastic teeth at school) and so he dressed all in black. Jacob was still an "athlete" but… basically just looked like a little kid. Oh well. Maybe next year I’ll be able to spring for a mask or some make up or something. *sigh*

Anyway, I wanted them to clean their room before we went out. It just looked like a damn pit of doom. We were gonna go out around 6:30 or 7, seemed easy enough. They didn’t really do a good job of cleaning their room and we were only gonna go down our block and come back in. I didn’t care if they got 2 pieces of candy!

 They had eaten a giant buttload of candy  from school already and didn’t even want dinner! Anyway, around 5:30, garage roommate came in with his kid and offered to take them all out together if I manned the door. Easy peasy. So they went out around 7:30 and came back around 8:30. They got a decent haul, but I confiscated the candy (because I need to check it anyway) and told them they wouldn’t get any until they cleaned their room the rest of the way. Anyway, Saturday morning rolled up and I was pissed at the way their room was. It was horrible. I was already in the mindset to clean up my own room, so I just decided to clean theirs because I KNEW they wouldn’t do shit. I sent them away and proceeded to throw away half their toys, take out their winter clothes, and make their room pretty much the cleanest it’s been in 2 months. (they did manage to wreck it partially by the end of the day and I wanted to kill them)

Anyway, I also did my room and it’s pretty damn clean too. I always forget how refreshing a clean room is. I also did 8 loads of laundry and put away ALL the clothes. That felt nice too! I do need to get a chest of drawers because i have no storage for my underwear and socks. I just put them all in a laundry basket and it looks dumb.

but I’ve determined, any money I have left over (from bills and paying my car registration this month) is going to getting my sons new shoes and Jonathon a coat. December will be christmas and I’m hoping to get htem clothes then, but I will be trying to get jonathon at least a few pairs of good jeans since he’s growing so damn fast.

No video games, no new music, nothing for me AT. ALL.

I do still hope i can get them their god forsaken gameboys for christmas. It looks like I can get them for about 130 bucks and they might be able to get 2 or 3 used games. That’s my gift this year already figured out. I think I’m gonna have the boys do a photo shoot and a few video clips and make another dvd for family. Everybody else just gets my warm holiday love.

har har.

Anyway, I’m off track.yesterday I woke up around 5:30 because of the time change, but it was cool. I washed my hair and played a bunch of Sims (*sidenote: I wanted to do all this fun stuff with my kids, but they kept fucking up, writing on walls, spilling syrup into their beds and trying to hide it, fighting, stealing candy… it was not a good mommy day. we didn’t get our Harry Potter movie night or our coloring bananza cuz they were on punishment for most of the day… *sigh*).

Does anyone else absolutely HATE making Sims go to college? I do! It takes TOO LONG. I downloaded a hack to instantly make them graduate with the major and honors I select (http://www.modthesims2.com has a LOT of cool stuff for anyone who plays). I tried to do it, but after barely making it through freshman year (two of my 5 students had a heat stroke and it was annoying. ha ha) I couldn’t stand it. I like the perks of making them go, but unless i’m focusing on one character that I want to build up really well with memories, it’s way too boring. So yay. I have two new couples from a legacy family and the genetics are gonna be cool. I love pulling out Sim talk like a giant nerd. LEGACY FAMILY. ha ha….

Enough Sim talk I suppose.

I’m having an allergy attack.

 

So this entry is long, I know this. But it’s because I’ll be focusing on writing my Nanowrimo today so I won’t really be writing many entries like I normally do (ha ha, we’ll see if this holds up, I haven’t even MENTIONED Baboo!)… yeah.

Oh I have a working title! "The Trigger" or "Trigger"

I really can’t wait to dive into this story.

Nanowrimo.org was down last night so I’m hoping it’s up today so I can update my novel info.
