i look to the night sky

and i think of you.

even though you’re far away,

you’ll always be close in my mind.

i miss you each day,

and dream of you each night.

every second that goes by

reminds me i’m one step closer to you.

when you get home all i want you to do,

is hold me close.

and make me forget how

i feel every moment i’m without you.
