Trump 2028?

Travis Hunter gets drafted to the Jaguars. Hmm. Good for them. I hope he falls flat on his face. I shouldn’t say that. *clears throat* I hope he gets the career he deserves.

Did anyone believe Sanders would be a first draft pick for any team other than himself and daddy Prime? Shocking. I guess daddy can’t get him everything he wants. I guess we’ll see how desperate the Browns are.

Can you imagine if Trump ran for a third term? America would implode like the Titan sub. Apparently the Trump Organization’s official online store is selling red “Trump 2028” hats and merchandise. The hats cost $50 and are being promoted by Eric Trump who is the VP of the organization. Oh the controversy. President Trump has even stated he is “not joking” about the possibility. This “As The Trump Adminstration Turns” series is just full of plot twists.

So here is my April book pick that I probably won’t begin reading until 2030. I don’t usually go for the romance genre. I like romance in books but incorporated in the main storyline, not the entire focus. This book, however, sounded interesting. I think because it’s not the typical rom-com. It has an element of fantasy.

Apparently an ex New Mexico judge and wife were arrested after their home was raided due to evidence which found them harboring an illegal Tren de Aragua gang member. (Allegedly) He was hired by the wife for home repairs and then was later offered to live in the guest house. Their arrest comes after Ortega-Lopez was apprehended in February at the judge’s residence. Investigators found evidence that linked Ortega-Lopez to the gang by gang-related clothing, tattoos, voicemails, and text messages. He entered the US illegally in December 2023 crossing the border near Eagle Pass, Texas without inspection or authorization.

What could a judge want with a Tren de Aragua member enough to let him stay at his residence? Questions. Questions.

China is granting selective exemptions from its 125% retaliatory tariffs on certain U.S. goods. These key exemptions include Pharmaceuticals, Semiconductors, Medical equipment and industrial chemicals, and Aviation components. Some U.S.- made drugs, particularly drugs to treat cancer and diabetes, have been imported into China without additional tariffs. China has quietly lifted tariffs on at least 8 categories of U.S. semiconductors. This move is to protect China’s tech sector that relies heavily on these imports. Tariffs have been suspended on certain U.S. medical devices and industrial chemicals, such as ethane. Jet engines and parts are being excempt from tariffs according to Safran, a French aerospace company.

By relieving certain sectors from the heavy tariffs, China plans to reduce the economic strain on it’s own economy while still maintaining a firm stance in the trade dispute. Though this shows a degree of flexibility, it is not a resolution to the trade tensions.

Crimea could once again become Russian territory as the peace talks deal continues between Ukraine and Russia. President Trump they are “very close” to making a deal to end the war. In saying Crimea will be Russian territory again is an attempt to pressure Zelensky into a peace deal. Zelensky has stated giving up the land currently occupied by Russia is a “red line” for his country. Russia is ready to reach a deal, according to Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister. However, he also stated there are elements of the deal that need to be “fined-tuned.”

The SAVE act bill has been shot down by a Washington D.C. judge arguing that Trump does not have the authority to issue an order, as the Constitution delegates control of election regulations to Congress and states.

Two weeks before the 2024 election, 84% of the U.S. were in favor of the requirement to show I.D. and 83% were in favor of requiring proof of citizenship. What has changed? So far in 2025, 5 states have enacted the voters ID requirements and 1 state has mandated proof of citizenship.

When I voted, I had to show an ID and I thought that was a normal procedure. I guess not, which seems crazy to me. I can’t imagine going to, let’s say, Japan, and walking right in to vote without any identification to prove I’m a Japanese citizen.

So when I was recently in the hospital, the doctor believes I’ve developed an ED. I didn’t think my eating habits where that bad. Yes, I lost a lot of weight but I was severely sick and unable to keep anything down. My blood work came back anemic and low electrolytes. He asked if I felt cold a lot and I do but I figured lots of people feel cold. So now I’m to see a therapist and a dietitian. He also put me on Olanzapine.

I just don’t have much of a desire to eat most days but I didn’t think it was a big deal. I drink water but apparently not enough to keep me hydrated. As much as my body seems to hate me, I’m ready for it to just give out.
