what i remember from the concert

ok, i finally got around to typing up my concert story if anyone cares. i generally remember things that happened but i don’t remember in what order, so bear with me. 🙂

ok, so my friend david and i get there at around 6 because i wanted to check if i was on the guest list, and since i’ve never been on a guest list before, i didn’t know that they get it like right when doors open. so david and i start walking to back to his car and on the way, we see ty outside the bus smoking. i’m like, “eww, smoking is gross” and i worry that he’ll end up getting throat cancer or something. anyway, i didn’t want to bother him, so i just waved as i walked by. when we got to david’s car, we realized that we both needed to use the restroom so we went back to the venue and heard at the park warming up. then after we were just kinda hanging around since we didn’t have much else to do, and i saw justin and matt from mcs walking around, as well as other people i didn’t recognize. then i asked david if we should ask for brian since i was supposed to be calling later and i had no idea what he looked like, so he went up to matt and asked if brian was around. he was like oh i dunno, i haven’t seen him. then i went up and said, “are you matt?” and he was like yeah! what’s your name? and we introduced ourselves. then he was like, i’ll see if i can find him, but i’m with mcs so i dunno (or something like that), but he was all helpful. so then he walked off and david and I decided to leave to put gas in his car since we had to drive an hour and half back to my dorm after the concert.

we came back to the place a little after 7 and we were just hanging around the bus waiting for 7:30 so i could call brian about my interview. i called him but he didn’t answer, and a few minutes later i saw this guy come off the bus so i told him i was looking for brian and he was like, “oh are you?” so i figured that it was him. i told him i had an interview and he told me that they had been canceled. at first i thought he was joking so i was looking at him like, you’re kidding right and he was like, i’m serious, they were canceled, but if you see the guys walking around you can see if you can still get one. so he left and i was all sad that i might not get my interview. so david and i just kept chilling in front of the bus. then a while later i see mike and chris walking back to the bus from somewhere with two other people and i told them about my interview situation and mike was like, well i have to go to the restroom right now. and chris said, yeah, we just had a big meal, so that’s what we have to do and they got onto the bus. chris came back off the bus a little later and was hanging around with ty, but i didn’t want to seem all bothersome so i didn’t go back up to them. we had met up with jeanenne by this time and she was like, brian is such a jerk. lol, she was getting all rowdy. i wasn’t mad at brian, i was just sad that i wouldn’t get the interview.

anyway, we were outside for a really long time and i don’t even remember what went on. oh yeah, i saw josh of mcs walking around and i was like, are you josh? and he was like yeah and we chit chatted for a little bit. i told him that i had d/led some of their songs that day and that i liked what i heard and would buy the cd when it came out. then this group of girls came up to us and were like, we were looking for this bald guy and they asked him something, i think it was about aar. then they started making fun of josh’s lack of hair, saying he should comb it over and all this other stuff. it was pretty funny. i wonder if they knew he was in a band…

we also got the ty and chris boobie pictures during this time, and talked to mike about his man boob picture. oh yeah, it was embarrassing because we were standing near this group of people that were talking to mike, and this older couple was like, “these girls are embarrassed to ask for a picture.” ok, we weren’t embarrassed, we just didn’t want to butt into the conversation! but anyway, we went up and jeanenne told him about the boob picture and he said he would think about it. then we walked off and stood by the tour bus waiting for nick because we knew he would give us a booby pictures. he finally got off and we went up to him. i told him about my interview being canceled and he said to find him after the concert to see if we had time to do it later. then we asked for the booby pic but he was like, um… i can’t do it right now. he told us why but he made us promise not to tell, lol. he’s funny.
