bull

No one ever said that
Dirt besmirched beauty –
That a pig rolling around in the mud
Could not be found attractive.
With you, it’s not the dirt
Caked under your nails
Or the speckles of dust
Marring your vain petals
That keeps you away from
Civilized living.

The smell, however, is atrocious.
You roll around in more than mud
Covering yourself with your own
Bullshit. Lies. Condemnations
While chalking it up to your
Hypersensitive mind.

I have to hand it to you, kid –
You have an active imagination
But it’s being wasted on
Accusations with no cause.

Before venturing into the world of the living
And crawling out of the dung pile of your mind
Take a bath.
Wash that shit off.
Then, only maybe, will you be worth the effort to
Plaster on a fake smile
And offer civility – but never friendship.

I can’t quite picture how you came to that conclusion, but I am curious what your stance on abortion is. For or against?

However you justify it, I’m pretty sure stating that a mother should have the right to murder her own child is no worse than a God standing back and allowing people to be punished for their willful disobedience. And not to impugn democracy too much, but it’s pretty much the worst form of government. It’s empowered mob rule. Mobs aren’t usually known for being just or fair or respecting others.

Your entire argument is duplicitous. You are arguing from the standpoint that there is no God and expect me to defend from the standpoint that there is. Assuming there is a God, let’s go one step farther and assume He knows everything. That means He already knows the actions a given person is going to take in any situation. He knows the whole story. The Bible does not usually give the whole story.

Not in any isolated incident, generally. So you don’t know where Pharoah’s heart was when he started. God only owes you one chance to accept his word. He may give you more than one chance to believe him. That’s at his discretion. You don’t know how many chances pharoah got. All you do know is that God knew before He sent Moses that Pharoah wouldn’t let them go. He said as much.

You don’t know those boys. You don’t know any of those situations. So assuming there is a God, which is my view, how am I going to stand back and declare God wicked? The God of the Bible is both just and fair. He’s going to give you an opportunity to defend yourself. You won’t have anything to hold against him when the day is done. You’ll get to say your peace, if that’s what you want.

I just don’t understand how you can say it’s ok for a woman to decide to kill her child, but then hold God to a different apparent standard.

I’ve been asked about the death penalty before. My question is, how can you be for killing unborn children but against killing guilty criminals.
