OPM 21 4th try
Today has been probably the worst I’ve had all year and maybe in a couple of years. Literally, I just want to curl in a corner and cry. My NM, that I’ve worked so hard with…Bitchy J didn’t send him for his medicine when she was supposed to. I knew something was wrong, but couldn’t figure it out. He lost his mind in my room. I ended up having to give the rest busy work while the teacher across the hall listened so I could bring him down to the office. Principal and Asst. principal were in a meeting, so I went to call mom. That’s when he admitted he hadn’t taken his meds. (I had asked him in the room when he first started acting out.) So, he took them, about an hour and a half too late. He’s on some SERIOUS meds, so any change in his schedule is a big deal. Right after that they left me for music and in music he kicked the crap out of another kid. Actually he kicked him 3 times. The kid told him to stop twice, then turned around and knocked him on his butt. So, we ended the day with both in the office. That was just the cap on an already crappy day. (For the record Z, the kid he kicked, is the same kid that PF picked a fight with a couple of weeks ago. He has a temper and they know it. ) All Bitchy J could do was screech, "I sent him for his meds!!!!!!!!!!" Seriously, I walked away to keep from punching her.
I had to run into town for some stuff for school and crickets for Godzilla. Of course I had to go visit the cats. I shouldn’t have. I left with tears in my eyes because I wanted to take this one home so badly. (I know as young and playful as it is, though, that Lizzie would not adjust.) She looks just like Butterball, though. 🙁 Excuse their fuzziness. I thought she was after the crickets, so I put them down outside, and she still kept reaching. I stood there for 20 minutes or so just playing with her. She was VOCAL, too.) I’m going to dream of sweet, headbutting, yowling, yellow kitties. 🙁

so sorry for such a hard and emotional day. you know…sometimes a good cry is a good thing. you’ve earned it hon.

Oh, honey. You NEVER go for outside fuzz-therapy after a day like that! You’re a rescuer by nature, and you’ll save what you can. I mean heck, look at what you do for those kids. Try not to worry about her too much. She’ll get herself picked pretty darn quick, workin’ it like that.

RYN: O God. I hope he missed. I am not brave enough to ask you. I don’t know what is wrong with people. Seriously. I don’t know how they can go through life like that, and think they are normal, decent humans–because they really do. They guy after the cat, Bitchy J…it’s too much.
