Love all around.
Dunkin’ Donuts coffee in a French press. I hate this coffee. I bought it because I’d heard somewhere that despite it’s cheap price, the coffee is of good quality. I think that it’s bitter and harsh in a bad, bad way. I miss the smoothness of my Peace Coffee. I miss the richness of their French roast. I also think it’s cute that they deliver it on bicycles. That’s probably why I can’t find it out in the suburbs.
I’ll never stray from you again, my darling. I will drive out of my way to find you:

Dave and I painted our living room on Tuesday. Well, we painted an accent wall. The color is called ‘paper bag’… and yes, I’d say that it’s about the color of a paper bag.
We also went sofa shopping. We went everywhere. EVERYWHERE. We spent hours driving all over the metro and even out of the metro to the largest furniture showroom in Minnesota but couldn’t find anything that’d fit better in our living room than the sofa that we looked at back in March. The only other one that we really liked was $1700 more expensive than this one, and was going to take 8ish weeks to be custom made and shipped to us. We’ve already waited long enough and were feeling impatient. So, we settled on this one:

Again, with this ottoman instead of the one that it’s shown with in the picture above:

It’s going to look great in our space, plain and simple. It’s going to fit perfectly. It’s going to look good with the end tables that we already have, and it’s going to match the brown leather recliner that we already have. It just works! I’m happy with our decision.
Uuuuuugggh I don’t want to go to class.
There’s just something about the warm days of summer that makes going to class complete and utter torture. I don’t even feel better when I think to myself that I only have a 3ish weeks left. Three weeks feels so far away.
Dave leaves for Europe in six days. It’s going to be so boring around here without him.
Speaking of Dave, I baked peanut butter chocolate chip cookies last night and spelled out "Riely loves Dave!" in chocolate chips on said cookies. When I woke up this morning he’d rearranged them to say, "Dav love Riel". Letters were missing because he’d eaten them. I giggled. 🙂
OMG, the cookie story is ADORABLE. And I so dearly love & covet your couch. <3 <3

I’ve read you for a while but I am not sure that I have ever noted. Anyways, I have that sofa…and I absolutely love it. I don’t think anyone has ever been in my apartment and not commented on it.

It seems to me that you should be able to find that peace coffee anywhere… I looked it up and your state has the most places to get it than any state on the east coast COMBINED. I was going to try it but there’s nowhere in a 50mi radius that would have it, haha. Oooh well. Love the couch – and great cookie idea. I may steal it 🙂
