More baby pictures(!!!) and other stuffs

Julian got his first bath yesterday! So, naturally, I went to visit this afternoon and simply had to get some photos of his rockin’ do.

Look at it! Look at it! It is so, so, so, so, so unbelievably soft. I cannot emphasize with enough ‘so’ how soft his hair is. And there is so much of it!

I love his little puppy dog face…

Here Chloe was trying to wake him up so he could eat. He really wasn’t having it and it was so funny to watch… she’d rub his belly and stroke his cheeks and he’d roll his eyes and straaaaaain them open like it was the hardest thing to do on Earth. Then they’d roll back and he’d stop trying. And repeat. And repeat. And repeat. lol. Apparently he finds sleeping to be far more important than eating!

So, between you all and I, I’m secretly hoping that Chloe’s cousin backs out of her offer to watch him for the couple of months after Chloe has to go back to work in mid-June.  When I was visiting this evening Chloe mentioned that when her cousin (who is.. oh I don’t know.. 18? 19?) came to visit she didn’t want to hold the baby because she had never held one before and was scared. Chloe mentioned that she’s somewhat worried that her cousin will panic when the baby won’t stop crying or whatever, and Chloe said, "I can’t have her calling me every 10 minutes to ask me what she’s supposed to do! I’ll already be freaking out!" I responded with, "Well if there is ever a time when your cousin needs a day off, I’d be happy to watch him for you guys. As of right now I don’t have a summer job lined up and my summer class is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 6:30 to 9:30 so it would work out quite well!"

Both Jeremy and Chloe said that they’d feel more comfortable with me watching him. Chloe said that she’d have asked me but she thought that my summer classes were going to be all day long during the week. So, now they know. And now I know. And hopefully the cousin backs out and I can be his nanny. Or at least asks for a couple of days off. Because I would feel so privileged to care for this little person.
