Pictures of Dave’s new place
Dave and I finished clearing/ cleaning out his old apartment yesterday. I also got the keys to my new place.
Only 2 1/2 more days until I’m free of my current living situation!
I took a few pictures of Dave’s new place for you all to see. I’ll take pictures of my new place once we get everything set up and in place.

The color on the wall in the great room is really brutal. I don’t know who in their right mind would paint a wall in such a beautiful place that obnoxious shade of peach, but whatever.
What you’re seeing here is their living room set-up… kind of. Dave has his desk in there behind the couch, as you can see. To the right is a fireplace and surround sound speakers that the owner of the condo had installed (he also had a flat screen TV mounted on the wall above the fireplace… Dave and John aren’t going to do that because the TV that they’re getting will be too big to fit up there.
In the background is John’s brand-spanking-new 52" Sony LED TV. And THAT, my friends, is the TV that he’s planning on putting in his bedroom. He’s buying the 60" LED as soon as it comes out and they plan on putting that TV in the living room.

The window in the background of this picture has the most amazing view of downtown Minneapolis. To the right is one of the balconies which has great views of downtown (which would be on your left if you were standing on the balcony) and the new Twins stadium right in front.

See? Pretty. I love the Minneapolis skyline.

And in the background there is a building with a red dot on it? See it? That’s Target Field- the stadium. It’s about four blocks away.

Dave’s bedroom. Do you see what I mean about the darkness of the wood and the bookshelves? And that burnt orange tray ceiling? He needed white in his room to lighten it up. His room is a mess here, and he needs a new bed frame, but ignore all of that. The colors work. I think it looks nice.

Here’s a picture that I took at night from the aforementioned balcony. The Twins played- AND WON!!!!- a game against the Yankees last night. We heard the roar from the crowd and watched fireworks shoot from the stadium a full five seconds before we watched Kubel hit his two home runs on the TV in Dave’s living room.

The skyline at night. Sorry for the blurriness. For whatever reason I couldn’t get my camera to take decent pictures in the dark last night.

Aaand the kitchen. In the center island is the wine cooler that I believe I mentioned in a previous entry. The dartboard is a new purchase of Daves… they really are going to turn that place into a total bachelor pad. I mean really, they’re getting a foosball table to put in the space that was originally meant for a dining room table
Boys.
I don’t know who you are, saw you on the front page but daaamn. Dave’s place looks expensive as hell. Which also means it looks awesome. I’m jealous.
