Some things. And more pictures.

First, check out the new OD pic. Those are my feet. I love this photo. I’m wearing a pair of Dave’s socks, you see. Why? Because Meg, Dan, Dave and I took Meg’s dad’s boat out to an island in the middle of a lake- an unkempt little island likely covered in poison ivy. Yeah, I know it’s not the time of year for poison ivy, but I’m paranoid! And a worrier. So Dave let me use his socks.

This island is little. And uninhabited. There were literally dead trees just chilling in the soil as if they were still alive. The boys had lots of fun playing HE-MAN and knocking them over.

 

 

Sidenote: that fucking watch. Dave spent like a thousand dollars on it less than six months ago and he wants to buy another one. WHY would anybody need more than one watch? Can anybody shed some light on this for me? Anybody? It’s like the male version of ladies and designer handbags. I’ve never owned a designer handbag. I can think of about a million other things that I’d rather spend a thousand dollars on, thankyouverymuch.

Okay, that’s it.

I got a speeding ticket this morning on my way to work. I was running late and was definitely speeding… going 50 in a 30, actually. :/
I have no idea how much money that’s going to be but I’m sure it’s going to be horrid and ugly. Again, I’m the queen of tickets in general… I’ve gotten a few tickets for going 64 in a 55 and even that is something like $215. I should have put two and two together when the guy speeding next to me slammed on his breaks.

I see a lot of overtime at work in my future.

 

I am also the queen of chicken pot pie. It is so good, you guys…. and I made enough to last the ENTIRE WEEK.
