Get a Life

So, as more evidence towards my increasing insanity, I’ve just signed up for a lifetime membership to Open Diary. That is despite having updated all of 3 times this month.

Of course, I would be too embarrassed to even admit to this, but I can’t figure out how to rid the diary of that silly “Lifetime Member” banner under my picture. So, yes, it’s time to give it up. You’ve caught me. I’m a sucker.

But, really, it’s a good deal when you think about it! I mean, within 4 years, assuming I was going to keep my subscription (which I likely was), I’ll have saved money! 20 years from now I’ll write my 5000th entry and proclaim what a great investment this was!

Yeah, you’re right, I’m sure the site will close down in the next week.

I would cry if the site closed within the next week. I’ve thought about making the leap to lifetime member. I’ve been here for 5 years and don’t anticipate going anywhere any time soon…

that is why im not getting the lifetime membership. As soon as i sign up, OD will crash and it would be as if my 100 bucks never existed. hmm. Although if it doesnt, it is a good investment. Ive been with OD for 6 years now. I’ll probably stick around for another six if OD doesnt crash and burn. Ahem point is…think of yourself as a rebel. A gambler. ha!

Well… it’s awful to admit, but I’ve been a member of OD for over four years, so I’m thinkin’ you could very well still write here in four years and thus save money. Besides! It’s for a good cause… sort of… hmm.
