Positivity

I just realised that I have not written since February..

Since then, I have completed my NIE training, including the 10 weeks of practicum, and am now a full-fledged primary school teacher. And school starts tomorrow. No form class of my own, which is disappointing, and no English despite my degree. Oh well, just for this second half of the year, and who’s to say that I wouldn’t enjoy myself?

I did grumble a little that despite asking us to share our preference for the levels we would be teaching, the school had completely ignored them, or perhaps even purposefully assigned us to something that we do not really want to do. I asked for P2, but given P3 and 5. A asked for P5, but was given P2. B asked for P4, but was given P2, while C was given the P4 class. Like seriously?

But after grumbling, I smiled and told myself, I might complain, but I’d gladly teach anyone who comes under my care, whichever level, whichever subject, however their behaviour. =)

Let’s make this positivity last!

That’s great to hear! I have a good team of teachers now who really really love children. Who knows you might really enjoy your new class?
