Brimstone and treacle

What the hell is wrong with people? Why the hell can they not just return a simple message, or even give the slightest bit of an acknowledgement? People just do not seem to understand that simply ignoring someone can be one of the most painful things you can do.

Over the years I have joked with the fact I have no friends; little things like "Well I guess this friendship is charade…", things that no one really means. I guess I’ve been telling the truth. I sent out 30 messages to friends to come and see my play: 7 replied. 7 people. I am an unloved, ignorant, selfish loser. Even Caitlin, my closest friend, has been ignoring me. I’m about ready to just break down and cry. Why can’t someone just let me know. What else do I have to do?
