Emotional Disappearance
The weird thing about being numb is you expect to feel nothing but you just don’t feel the good and all the bad. The emotions consume you and your head until you’re drowning in them gasping for air wishing you felt nothing. Your never truly numb your just drowning and you keep drowning until someone or something saves you. If they don’t the water consumes you and fills your lungs your, whole body. You’re no longer drowning your dead but your body is still there. You’ve disappeared, the water takes over your entire body. You’re laying there at the bottom of the ocean, your back against the sand waiting for your body to disappear but it never does. You keep “living” walking on land even though the real you is under water. Something inside of you is screaming “Help I’m still here” but nobody cares to listen. Eventually the screams stop completely, you stop fighting the water and you stay underwater forever.
