NoJoMo – 26 Long trip

The trip was insane.
Apparently, North Carolina decided that I-85 would be better suited as a parking lot than an interstate.
We decided to take out our chances heading west through the mountains. 17 hours after we started our drive, we arrived.
It was an incredible long drive. Grant and I have very few spats though. One over the music that last only a few moments and one over him bugging me about flying. Neither lasted long and neither were intense.
When we finally got to the house, Grandpa was here waiting on us. 4 am, and this man was sleeping in his recliner so he could open the door for us.
We crashed into bed within 15 minutes. With only 5 hours sleep the night before the drive (who’s dumb idea was it to have incredible sex the night before heading to the Grandparent’s for the holidays anyway???), we were absolutely exhausted.
