Holiday eve

This is an increasingly-frequent feature of going on holiday for me; the staying-up. Me with the busy schedule, I just HAVE to stay up practically all night before going. This despite us only having to leave at 8am or so.

Basically, tomorrow will work out something like this:

Catherine and I depart Casa JoeCat before 9am (we’re ambitiously calling this time 8am, it may not happen)

We drive 20km into Dublin

Catherine hops out, collect her contacts and hops back in

We drive 176km to Belfast International Airport

Arrive at this fancy car park where I’ve paid for parking already. Apparently all I have to do is insert my credit card at the barrier for verification and something scans our number plate. We park and our Corsa should be safe for a week or so

Drop our one suitcase in the Bag & Drop as we’ve already checked-in

We find a place in Belfast Airport that still serves breakfast at midday

Buy an Irish Times to bring on the journey

Go past security with the boarding passes I printed earlier on tonight

Board plane

Plane lands in Lanzarote and we collect solitary suitcase

Hertz will know who I am because I also checked-in with them earlier

We drive to the apartment and holidaying ensures

Obviously I’ll complain here if a single fecking thing goes wrong but to be honest, I’m looking forward to sleeping. It’s nearly 2.30am, I need to be up pretty soon and I haven’t packed a single item.

That’s how we do it in JayeLville, bitches.
