15 years
I wrote my first entry here Thursday, October 22, 1998.
In the old numbering system I was Diary #5. The DM was 1. When I came over to the pay site I converted to #314.
I cannot believe it’s gone by so quickly. 15 years.
I have learned so much here…about myself – about others – about the world.
I am forever changed for my experiences here. I am so very grateful.
I was here in Nov. of 1998 and feel exactly the same was, changed and bettered (a word?) by the community and my ability to work through what the years brought to my pages. So good of you to remind us “old timers” what we owe to this site.

I would miss this place so much if it went bust. I’ve only been here since July 2007 and I thought that was a long time!

ryn;; That is SO, so rad that you’ve been here from the start! ♥ I never saw myself leaving, either; I had and deleted a few diaries before this one “stuck,” so my history here is even longer than officially documented. It just stopped feeling the same for me, and that changed everything <3

Number 314…I’m number 480. The elite “C” group. The old guard. I have an account on Prosebox, but I’m not sure it’s my place…even though I’m loving the openness of Simple Mind’s approach to things.

How did you discover it? There were only a few hundred when I first started. It is a special place.
