Homing In
My 3rd day in the new house and life begins to look a bit more normal as internet service is live, the coffeemaker is finally found, and my bed is made, clean, and comfortable.
I have about 1/3rd of the boxes unpacked and put away and the jangled feeling I have when surrounded in piles of chaos begins to subside. I have much to do, arrange, and recompile – but it is starting to feel like home.
I hope to have all the boxes undone by this time next week. I will need to get some new storage units as the ones I used in the apartment don’t fit the space.
The lack of noise here is so calming. I am sleeping so much better already. The variants of green out each window is lovely as the house is surrounded by beautiful gardens on all sides. It is soothing and reassuring.
So far; so good.
Sounds great!

I am flat out charmed and looking forward to the upcoming photos. One of my favorite things is a fig yogurt. 🙂
