Out with the old
2013 winds to a close and I feel detached from it.
My sister and son are safely back in the Midwest and I begin the work of bringing the house back to order.
We had a nice visit and it was lovely to hear laughter in these rooms. I hadnt realized it was the first time laughter rang out here. I promise myself it will not be the last.
I mentioned Id had a few dates. Ive met some nice men and liked one very much, but he returned to an old flame shortly after we met and he was very adult about it.
I am hopeful that these baby steps will lead me into the path of some funny, smart, balanced humans and that 2014 is the year of laughter for me.
At 52 the ones who are interested in me are either much older, or much younger.
I will continue to go on dates and have fun.
More later on that front.
That’s the way to do it. Did I mention that Bobbie joined Match.com, and has found two gentlemen that have turned into lovely friends. 🙂

Some lucky guy out there will find you in 2014!

I dunno, if you’re going to have fun on dates, the younger ones might be a better choice. 😉

Oh, good for you! Wishing you all kinds of good company this coming year. And not just of the dating sort. But true friendships too.
