Tempus Fugit

Bee Gees; You Should Be Dancing on Pandora, and I begin my work week seated at the computer, as usual.   I think they might be right.

Last weekend found me traveling out across the Cascade Mountain Range at Snowqualmie Pass, and over to the farm belt of Washington State, just past the Columbia River Basin.

The apple trees there are loaded beyond belief and the vineyards are heavy laden, too.  Cantaloupes, Honey Dew, and Water Melons are super sweet this year.  I bought a huge bag of peaches, melons, and cherries.

This time of year, Seattle residents often go East to find the sun before we slide into the long gray of winter. I spent most of my time at the hotel pool soaking it up.

Saturday night there was a Microbrew festival and I sampled IPAs from the region.  I felt bad for the Burlington Northern crews who were trying to sleep in the hotel while the bands blared.  There wasn’t a quiet place in the whole hotel.

This weekend I hope to head down to the Oregon Coast and try my hand at some King Salmon Fishing.  The spawn is beginning and I want to see it.

Meanwhile, back in the Emerald City, I’ve located a nice rental house and will get a moving estimate later today.  I can’t believe it’s been almost a year already.

…when you are having fun. Yeah, Catholic school Latin student. Fr. Motzko told us the only reason Latin is a dead language is because students killed it.

Yeah, and you’re trying to catch up to it. You’re moving again?

A house. This is going to be so much fun. 🙂 In your area, check out the artist Don DeLlamas’s sea scapes. He lived in the Anacortes area. 🙂
