I have the BEST bank ever

No really I do.

I belong to Wescom Credit union. And apparently I have the best bank ever. I have searched for a bank with comparable things to offer, even other credit unions in my area and they all do not stack up.

I think the ONLY problem with my bank is that its a credit union and not nationally spread out like some bigger banks like Bank of America and Wells Fargo Bank. I have to mail my checks in if I cant get them direct deposited. So well I think Im going to have to go with that. That small inconvience is worth everything I get in return. Let me explain what I get in return.

First the longer you belong to a credit union they more they are likely to give you loans for things such as homes, cars, school etc. But that is just common sense and most people know that with Credit Unions. Second, I have a real over draft protection, meaning I have a savings account that is linked to my checking account and because they are linked even if I have no money in either account I have over draft protection. The banks around me in Missouri want to have me get a credit card with them and have that as my over draft protection. So say I actually qualified to get a credit card if I accidently bounced a check (not that I do since I rarely write checks anyhow) but it would go off of a credit card, so the bank would make money off of me in interest. Rediculous. Oh so since I dont qualify for a credit card I dont get over draft protection. Not to mention that say I have $50 in the bank I have only $4 available because I used my visa check card 2x and the total pending to come out of my account is $46, say I go to the corner market and accidently spend $5, do they deny it? No they count it as a bounced check, FUCKING terrible.

Wescom offers me the things I need. I know Im picky but that’s because I understand how I work. I need my bank to think for me especially since I can get manicy and spend more than I have. So Wescom offers me the things I need, and on top of it the things I want.

The one option I want, dont need is the fact that I can log into my account online and transfer money right into my mom’s wells fargo account. No this is not bill pay, this is just a regular account to account transfer with an outside account. Its just transfering money, other banks do not allow me to do this, they want me to come into the bank and WIRE the money, meaning they want to get paid to do this. Pain in my ass.

So if you are in Southern California, I truely recommend getting into Wescom if you can.

Old fashioned they might seem, yet so far ahead of their competitors.
