ICC continued
Saturday:
Changling. Let me give you some background on changling. Fairy’s is what they are, but childhood stories of fairies are what they are not. Changling is a game based on the loss of innocence in our world. The Fae live off the stuff created by imagination, and with less and less imagination existing in this world, the more they are killed by the mundane parts of life. In the history of the fae they were forced from their magical world to live IN humans. When you awaken your fae side you become part of the fae world. Not every human has a fae side, just those who were chosen to have a fae reborn into them. The costuming of this venue is one of the more fantastic, and although I enjoy the venue for its “magical” side at ICC I found it slightly drole. I was unaware of how any plots were supposed to bring in all the players, and there were a LOT of players, I would say even more than the Sabbat game. I did play it, I did enjoy it, and I got something accomplished for my character that will make RP at home interesting. It will allow me to play with my Unseelie side of my character (Seelie and Unseeling is like the good and naughty side of Fae) Notice I said naughty side not necissarily bad.
Saturday Night:
Camarilla Conclave, the whole premise of ICC. Once again since it is camarilla vampire and I lost my character I did not play, but I did get to watch. Camarilla vampires are those who try to keep their humanity and control their vampiric beast with their humanity. They believe in the Masqurade (the not letting mortals know they exsist in society). They try to be the puppet masters of the humans while not appearing to exsist at all. Camarilla society is strict in its nature and very political. Conclave is all about that stricture and politics. I watched, I learned and I have decided I want another Camarilla vampire character very much so. I personally as a player have learned what Camarilla is about.
OOC (out of character) Over all I enjoyed ICC, I got to meet people from Ireland, Australia, Canada, the UK, and well of course all over the US. I helped volunteer and I found that having over 700 people at this event, with the coordination of the ICC staff and volunteers it went awesomely. I had a blast. I partied with friends, new and old, renewed friendships that fell apart at the last CamCon, and over all enjoyed the expierence of playing with that many people. It made me truely understand what the club is about, and it was awesome.
RYN: I`m manic depressive, too. I get what you`re saying, but if you`re manic depressive, then you know what intruding thoughts are like. As for counciling. . .maybe I just haven`t found the right counselor, because all they seem to do is make me feel work. *shrug* Cute diary. <3

Sounds like you had a great weekend! I’m not sure how LARP works but it sounds like fun (how on earth do you keep all those characters and rule-sets straight in your head though! I’d be lost with ONE! lol) (HUGGLES)
