This is a repost of the entry where I put the poem that Im about to have published this year.

He stands there lost… 6/7/2000

I was struck by inspiration today. Just out of no where this poem comes to me and I wrote it down. Its not of my usual style or imagry, not even of my usual topic, love. Well let’s see what you all think.

He Stands there Lost

He stands there lost,
Helplessly searching.
Wanting to know,
What he seeks.
His heart, keeps
Him from knowing.
It hides from him,
Protecting from the pain.

Everyday it is the same,
Searching for an answer.
He stands there lost,
Confused for he feels,
He knows what he seeks.
Closer to an answer,
His heart holds tight.
The unknown pain,
Hidden, deep inside.

Each day closer,
The answer slowly,
being revealed.
He stands there lost,
Knowing he is near.
Seeking harder, for
He is close.
To know what his
Heart, has kept closed.

He stands there lost,
Not for unknowing.
But for the pain,
He has learned.
The truth, has
Been found.
He wants to run,
To hide from it again.
But his heart,
Refuses to take,
The pain inside.

He stands there lost,
Far from himself,
Deep inside a pain,
Others cant find,
He stands there lost.

So this is my latest poem. I havent written one in over two years I think. The one I put in my last entry was written a long time ago and was the last poem I wrote until this one today.
