Puppetry

So after my game friday night Justin was using his belt clip thingy from his cell phone and puppetrying it. Pretending it was a thing with a voice and a personality, it was hilarious. When we went to bed Justin mentioned that he missed the puppet he used to have. I knew he and his best friend Will used to do puppet shows while in HS, and Will sold these really fantastic puppets and Justin occassionally helped. So I know he has experience with them. He described this bird puppet but I wasn’t really able to ask much about it as I was falling asleep. But I did decide what to get him for Christmas.

I found a company that designs custom puppets. I really want to make it personal and as Justin doesn’t have a character to create it from I decided to use our cat Bear. I’ve sent them an email and I’m hoping that they get back with me sometime on Monday, tomorrow. I’ll post updates as the process begins. I think this will be great.

I know he’s really going to love it.
