It began with a call to all noble stars.
“Leave your homes, and connect with me.
Let’s meet and drink and eat together joyously.”
In the place where the Earth’s heart beats on and on eternally,
we set ablaze our feelings of hate –
and let them float away in a fit,
full of their smoky rage.
They were our cage.
Now the Earth’s movement is begging us to dance!
“Dance dance…dance dance…dance,” Earth chants.
Inside the womb of Universe,
we take a chance –
and we are reborn as
Love.
Loved.
Loving.
This weekend was pretty awesome. Friday night, me and Rachel spent the night with some homeless people. It was at a moving shelter, and they needed a couple of people to stay and make sure the night went by smoothly. The cot for me was broken, but it was okay. I just so happen to have a whole camping kit in my truck at ALL times. 😀 So I slept like a baby on the floor, while Rachel slept comfortably on the good cot. Next day, we woke up around 5:00 and got breakfast and coffee ready for everyone. Talked and played games. There was a crazy lady talkin’ to herself. She made me think of an old beat-nick, straight Bill Burroughs/Naked Lunch style. A wandering remnant from a time long gone.
After everyone left, we went to her house and napped. Had lunch with a friend, and came to the farm. Mom and Billy invited me and Rachel to a Valentine’s Dance in country-town Virginia. We got ready for that, in like 10 minutes, and rolled out. (It was pricey, but included dinner, an open bar, and a damn good cover band). It was sooooo much fun! Rachel looked AMAZING. And I was pretty cute too. 😉 We danced the night away, and got drunk, and spun each other around, and I kept on stepping on her feet, but we looked in each other’s eyes, and whispered sweet nothings. Like, "I love you so much." "You are beautiful." "This is the prom I never had." "I’m drunk…!" 😉 We sang out loud to the songs, and when we didn’t know the words, we just made sounds. It was the best dance I’d ever had/been to.
It was our early Valentine’s Day. And it was the best one we’d ever had.
So sweet 🙂
