totally offended by dancing with the stars

THAT IS NOT LINDY HOP.  I have yet to see a real Swing-out OR any BASIC FOOTWORK… virtually nothing that would count as swing under world swing dance council rules.  It’s offensive to have our dance misrepresented like this.  It is NOT all lifts and flips and crud.  THIS is real lindy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jf_AIasUuc&feature=related

Nothing like what they are doing on this show.

The tango is somewhat more true to the dance (maybe?  I don’t know the dance well enough to really say).  The lindy is just offensively not remotely lindy.
