Not much
Well, I figured it was time for another update. There’s not a whole lot going on around here. We survived the hurricane with minimal damage in the surrounding area. Derek and I went back to Indiana to visit family and be safe. We spent a week up there. It was nice, but I was ready to get back home. I’ve been working on potty training Derek. He’s doing fairly well, although, the trip made him regress just a little. He usually goes on his potty as long as he is already naked. But, he has yet to let me know or go on his own with pants on. We’ll get there soon, though. I’m pretty sure that we are going to start trying for another baby sometime after the first of the year. As long as the potty training still seems to be going well, anyhow.
My birthday is next Wednesday. Hard to believe I’ll be 27 already. Matt’s birthday is the 15th. Then, our 3 year anniversary is October 28. Not sure what we’re doing to celebrate any of them. The Marine Corps Ball is sometime in the beginning of November. I think we are going to it again this year. Which means I need to find a dress to wear, again. I think we are going to get Matt his dress blues this time, so that will be another added expense.
Derek wants my attention, so I guess I’ll go. Nothing exciting in my life right now, anyhow.

I’m glad you all are okay after the hurricane. We thought it was going to hit us for a while, but then again it usually does being in florida! I find all of my dresses way cheap, if you go to a department store and look in the prom section, they usually have some that aren’t expensive, but really nice! Go now, though, before the homecoming season starts. Take care;)

Hi! Good luck potty-training….dress blues are VERY expensive i was so surprised like about $200 for just the jacket and thats without any chevrons etc sewn on. Try to buy a coat used thats what my husband did and he got it for $60 and just had to change the chevrons and such. Happy Birthday to you and your husband…happy anniversary as well. My bday is Sunday and ill be 23.

glad you guys are okay. i know what you mean about the expenses for the ball! i have to find a dress, get james’s blues tailored, new chevrons on, blood stripe on, etc etc. not to mention our tickets are $120 a couple and it’s in VEGAS which is a pretty good drive! but hey, it’ll be tons of fun, i’m looking forward to it. love the new pics of you guys, you’re such an adorable family!!!!!
